Trumpvirus – Donald Trump, my Inktober drawing 2020

In English below Swedish text | Som illustratör tecknar jag bland annat till olika tidningar. Jag har tecknat Trump för Nyhetstidning Fokus förra året, I och med ett dataspel. Idag tecknade jag Trump mer för egen skull. Tog min Cappuccino till frukost, kollade nyheterna. Och som de flesta nu säkert vet, så har även Donald Trump fått coronaviruset. Jag kallar denna för “Trumpvirus”.

As an illustrator I’ve often come to make editorial, magazine illustrations. Last year I got to put Trump in an illustration about a computer game. Today, this morning I got to do this one. Not for a client, just for myself

I call this one “Trumpvirus”.

Inktober day 3, “Trumpvirus” with small “T”:s”. Trump not immune. People around him not immune. A society, a country, a world and families affected. My mom 87also got it, and survived.

I don’t like his presidency, equally I don’t want anyone to catch a leatheal sickness so I hope all goes well in that respect, and that Trump recovers.

Equally, Trump like all populist leaders are per definition like viruses – little care for others.
