Print 2013 – met with Falk Graphic, exhibitor at the Fair in Kista, Stockholm, SWEDEN
The print and communication Fair Print 2013 is in full swing out on the Kista Expo Center in Kista suburb north of Stockholm City, along the motor highway E4 before coming towards the airport (after passing by Kista), roughly, so you get a visual picture of Kista´s place on our earth.
At the fair PRINT 2013 I received the pleasant opportunity to meet and talk a bit with different exhibitors at the show, I never talked to before. Including Helene Waerland (seller / Regional Manager) and her male colleague I did not get his name or business card of, from Falk Graphic in Falkenberg, smaller town in Sweden and fairly close to Denmark.
I got to talk a bit about CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT with Helene Waerland and her male colleague. It was fun. It really is always fun to talk CorelDRAW. And as many know, I use Corel Draw, Photo-Paint and Corel Painter daily. And I beta test the programs CorelDRAW and PHOTO-PAINT also. So it becomes very easy to talk about the programs 🙂
But I was also able to get to see some of the work Falk Graphic does, and who theye are. And it is always good and interesting to hear directly from printing companies on what they actually are doing in their printer buisness. I also saw a neat vinyl record sized & format print Falk Graphic printed up to introduce themselves as a company. With much inspiration from some of the Beatles classic vinyl discs. Like the classic album ”Revolver”. Very nicely photographed, designed and printed. High class! Design by Lars Nordin / mecs.se and images in collaboration with Falk and Jesper pman Peterson.

Before I went on from Falk Graphics booth, I believe I got time to ”casually” present for them that I do everything from illustrations, graphic design and printing original and professional vectorizing work – you simply have to take the chance when you have it dont you 🙂 Well, maybe they forgot about me seconds after…
But joking aside, I think it was well done by Falk Graphic to participate as an exhibitor at the fair PRINT 2013. I do not understand why not more printers were there at the fair as exhibitors than those who actually were there. After all it is a great place to be seen and show your work and potential to potential clients and make some contacts. I also see a huge development potential for the show if they dare to grow a little more with a little more exhibitors. And that more printers and other industry related exhibitors. Not only print makers and printers. For example the FAIR 2013 have a a lot of really interesting seminars on topics about printing, the business and social media and how to maximize your work as a printer guy doing image editing, and of course seminars about Color management, to start with.
Now you just need Falk Graphic and a few other swedish printers who did not believe that CorelDRAW Graphics Suite was still around, made some easy research to start with and read on a bit and discovered the strength and benefits of CorelDRAW.
