CorelDRAW & cut plot capabilities – yes!

CorelDRAW is a favorit software in the Sign business. That may be for many reasons. As I read a question about Cut & plot capabilities, I thougth it a good thing to highlight something that has been around since 1995, according to people who have used CorelDRAw longer than I have. (since 1997). CorelDRAW output directly to Roland Devices, so there isnt really any need per say to use any macros for cut & plot. For example CoCut, Flexisign etcetera. Therefore if you stand there infront of your favorite machine, try to simply turn your head to your computer screen and use CorelDRAW. Pick the device from the printerlist, in the engine for print. Recomendation from someone who should know, is ”Make sure shapes are made as outlines only”.

Another one who also should know said ”Use CorelDRAW without any additional plugin or software. Just use CorelDRAW. Install the drivers in question beforehand. Like you would do with any sort of printer., and then in CorelDRAW go via File > print. Recomendation, outputting to vinyl is: ”Black hairline” and ”without fill”.
