I need a new smartphone, Nokia 9 is very tempting

I am seriously considering buying myself another Nokia Smartphone. My very first smartphone was a Nokia Lumia 800, and I still own a Lumia 920, Windows phone. And now Nokia 9 PureView, with Android OS, by HMD Global is seriously making at least me tempted.

When I write this, nothing is official yet, about the new Nokia branded Smartphone. I look at photos of so called leaks on the net, and what have you. Photos of the device. The previous phones from Nokia haven’t had all the power of the other big brands out there. No real flagship quality phones when it comes to Android. The older Windows phones had a lot of power, but that’s history now. Android is what Nokia use these days. Rumours tells of a story that it might be very different this time around. Let’s hope that’s the case.

Specs rumoured so far, as far as I have read, are listed below. And, rumours, not confirmed as of yet, so take it for what it is – rumours.

Nokia 9 PureView – the rumoured name.

2018’s Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

A 3,950mAh battery and dual-SIM slot.

8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

Android 9.0 Pie, Android One edition Watch leaked video.

Five camera lenses, additional sensor and flash units. Amounting a total of seven rings. Another rumour claimed a dual-lens.

5.99-inch 2K HDR10 display will house a fingerprint scanner.

Some rumours says it will have an edge-to-edge 3D glass display.

A metal and glass build 155 x 75 x 7.9mm dimensions. While others claim it will be 140.9 x 72.9 x 7.5mm. And no 3.5 mm. port for headphones.

Some claim it to be a full-body metal body. IP68 certified, dustproof body. And surviving 30 minutes under 1.5 meter deep water.

A Penta-lens camera. A dual-lens Carl Zeiss camera. A telephoto or wide-angle lens. A dual-lens front-facing camera.

Rumours really make it difficult to get a clearer picture of what might be the final and official specification.

12MP and 13MP lenses on the back, and a 5MP dual-lens camera on the front. And 2x optical zoom.

A huge 3,800mAh battery. And fast charging, Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.

3D audio recording. An iris scanner. An in-screen scanner.

OZO audio enhancements.

It surely is interesting to see what will come added with Nokia 9. And if these specs are close to what it might have, I am interested. Currently I have a Huawei P10, and i like to change smartphone, and buy a new one. And Nokia would be fab.
