Coffee is coming – from China? Yes!

Who haven’t heard of coffee beans from Columbia, Brazil, Old Java, Africa and roasted in Italy, Sweden, France, USA and so forth. But coffee from China? Grown coffee beans? What the he… Well yes, its a fact coffee has in Chinese Yunnan province apparently been farmed for a century in very small quantities and media-unknown and not a top of mind. But now it shows its potential and actual coffee plantations to a wider market. Starbucks for example recently hooked up with a local Chinese coffee plantations company in Yunnan China.

The hills and climate of Yunnan is said to be as good for coffee plants as those in Columbia.

I am a coffee drinker and loves the aroma of coffee whole beans from the bag to the grinder, and within 30 seconds getting a perfect double espresso in the morning and during the day. Make me draw more drawings, paint more and illustrate and design with joy 🙂

Wonder when we can buy coffee to our homes from China, our local stores
